The family

Claudine, Sandrine et Rémy GRATIOTA great wine born from the land, a family and a passion. It represents 5 generations of family tradition, based on a constant concern for rigour and perfection.

The history of this passion starts with Désiré GRATIOT, who won the agricultural show in 1907 for her white wine.
In 1939, her son was cultivating just over one hectare of vineyard; he was pressing his own grapes and those of other wine growers.

The activity took a huge leap forward in the 60s: Daniel and Lucienne GRATIOT and their two sons expanded the vineyard and started to commercialise the Champagne.

In the early 70s, Gérard and Claudine GRATIOT developed the business further and gave birth to the « GRATIOT Gérard » label.
Today, their children, Sandrine (responsible for the clientele) and Rémy (responsible for the vineyard and the cellar) continue the tradition.
